ASICS Superblast 3 Running Shoes

The ASICS Superblast 3 is the highly anticipated update to ASICS’ cult-favourite super trainer, built to deliver a lighter, softer and more energetic ride. A redesigned midsole pairs new FF LEAP foam up top for extra bounce with durable FF BLAST PLUS below, promising even lighter weight and higher cushioning than its predecessor while maintaining versatility for long runs, tempo runs and everything in between.

ASICS Superblast 3 super trainer running shoes

The ASICS Superblast 3 is built for runners who want one shoe that can cover long runs, steady daily mileage, and faster sessions with a light and energetic feel. It is the next update in the Superblast series, designed to deliver more responsiveness, more comfort, and a smoother ride across any distance.

New midsole for more bounce and energy return

The biggest update is the new FF LEAP foam in the midsole. It is ASICS lightest and most energetic foam to date, designed to feel more responsive and bouncy underfoot than the previous model. A redesigned trampoline pod under the foot helps create a stronger rebound, so each stride feels more lively while still staying comfortable over longer efforts.

Improved fit and support through the upper

The Superblast 3 also improves comfort and lockdown with a new eyestay design that adds midfoot support. The engineered woven upper stays lightweight and breathable, with refined textures and patterning that help it adapt more naturally as your foot moves. The update also reduces overall weight by around 10 grams compared to the Superblast 2, helping the shoe feel faster and more agile for everyday training.

High stack cushioning for long distance comfort

With a stack height of 38.5mm in the forefoot and 46.5mm in the heel, the Superblast 3 delivers a plush feel without losing its energetic character. The dual layer cushioning construction combines FF LEAP with FF BLAST PLUS to create a smooth, protective ride that stays responsive when you want to pick up the pace.

More responsible material choices

ASICS continues to improve material choices across its performance range. The Superblast 3 includes recycled polyester in the upper, a dope dyed sockliner designed to reduce water usage during production, and bio based materials in parts of the midsole.
