Medi Omomed Shoulder Support

The Medi Omomed shoulder support is designed to prevent potentially harmful movement of the shoulder joint during recovery.

Knitted fabric delivers mild compression to reduce swelling and tension of the muscle. The upper white strap helps secure the shoulder in place, intentionally restricting movement to help alleviate pain and support recovery.

The strategic positioning of straps improve wearing comfort and allow a personalised fit.

Shoulder injuries and protection:

• Conservative/post-operative after proximal humeral head, scapula or glenoid fractures and AC joint dislocations
• Conservative with anterior shoulder luxation and chronic anterior subluxation as well as painful omarthrosis
• Post-operative after shoulder stabilisations, rotator interval reconstruction, refixation of the biceps tendon anchor

Wearing directions: Support can be used continuously for a number of weeks during recovery. The support should be removed during long stationary periods (e.g. while sleeping). Consult your doctor for recommended use.
