The most noticeable change in the Kayano 23 is the weight reduction from its predecessor. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material Asics has ever made and it's used in the full-length FluidRide midsole. The special fibres ensure the material bounces back to its original shape after every run for long-lasting durability.
Convergence GEL in the FluidRide midsole adds further shock dispersion and a smooth transition from heel contact to toe-off.
The Asics Gel Kayano 23 boasts an improved fit with the heel clutch system offering better support and grip to your heel and a FluidFit mesh upper with multi-directional, reinforced stretch that hugs your foot for a totally personalised fit.
As with previous Kayano models, this stability shoe suits runners with mild to moderate overpronation (feet that roll inwards).
