Inspired by the Adizero Adios Evo 1, adidas are pitching the Evo SL as a lightweight, "do-it-all" shoe that seamlessly transitions from daily training to speed workouts.
The midsole features full length Lightstrike Pro, the same foam adidas used in the Adios Pro 3. adidas are protecting the midsole with a generous coverage of Continental outsole material which will give runners confident traction and durability.
There's no plate in the Evo SL, but does have a small midfoot shank to provide some added structure. Up top, the upper of the Evo SL is a simple breathable mesh with some subtle padding thought out.
The Adizero Evo SL can slide into a shoe rotation either as a capable 'do it all' shoe, or something that's fun and fast complementing a runner with an easy day and race shoe already in their rotation.
