Mizuno are debuting their new ENERZY XP midsole, a nitrogen-infused supercritical foam, which strikes a balance between high responsiveness and cushioning.

The carbon-infused WAVE PLATE made from Rilsan nylon adds snappiness and stability for faster speeds. The Smooth Speed Assist design returns with a recalibrated heel geometry, however it's still suited to runners who land on their forefoot or midfoot.
